Sunday November 4th, in Nanoose Bay

Just packing up this morning and getting back ‘ on the road again’.  Have had a nice relaxing week here, in beautiful surroundings.  The sun shone on Friday, in the morning the tide was way out, so we picked oysters, from the waters edge.  Most were stuck solidly to the rocks but some we could get off.  That evening we fried them in garlic/lemon butter, yum.  Neil was eating one and went ‘crunch’—spit it out- it was a pearl—no kidding, not his tooth!  So that was pretty neat!  In the afternoon I finally got into the outdoor hot tub, what a lovely way to spend some time. Chilly when you got out, but the main clubhouse wasn’t that far away.  So off we go now, hoping to go out to salt Spring Island, maybe tomorrow
