Eastward hey!!--moped along the top of Arkansas--arriving at Mountain Home--ending up at a Corps of Engineers campground on Norfolk lake. Beautiful spot--heard the loon call---that did it!!!-- we stayed for another day. Weather warm--too hot--80--and sunny. But like all good things--it had to end, so headed out again, --across the top of Arkansas, into Missouri for a short time--then into Tennessee. A beautiful trip, through rolling hills, green pastures with cows grazing and trees in bloom, red bud, cherry, and magnolia--so nice to see green--we realized that inspite of the wonderful things we had seen for the last 3 months-we had not seen 'green'!!! Today we came north through the 'Land of the Lakes', ambling along the 'trace'-- part in Tennessee and the other half in Kentucky stopping at The Home Place--an 1830-50s' farm. They were shearing sheep, cooking, etc--much like Upper Canada Village only on a much smaller scale. Neat to see-as their houses were made to catch every breeze to keep cool--they weren't worried about the cold. I didn't enjoy that much!!! (haha) Would love to volunteer there someday!! This will probably be my last post on our incredible trip---we have to be in Elkhart, Indiana on Tues to have some things done on the 5th wheel--then will head for John and Jerri's for Easter---then home to Clayton on Tuesday. Thank you for following along on our travels--it really has been quite the trip. Neil and Beth
